Range Pass Program

Shady Lane RANGE PASS Program

Shady Lane Sportsmen's Club is now making available a limited number of "range passes" for inviduals who wish to make use of our pistol and rifle ranges, but for whom the commitments of traditional membership are not feasible.

HOW IT WORKS:

- Range passes are purchased in booklets of four, at a cost of $100. 

- Passes are valid for one year from the issue date, and are redeemed by placing a pass in the designated drop-box at the time of the visit. 

- Only one booklet (four passes total) may be purchased at a time. 

- There is no refund for expired passes.  However, if you don't use all of your passes within a year, the purchase price of unused passes ($25 each) can be credited toward the price of a new $100 booklet.  (This would "reset" back to four valid passes.)

- A single pass grants access for one individual shooter, who has submitted the required liability waiver at the time of purchase.  Additional passes may be redeemed for up to three additional shooters (maximum of four) but each additional shooter must submit a completed waiver prior to the visit date.  Any shooting activity involving more than four shooters is considered an "event" and requires a reservation and rental fee.

RULES & REQUIREMENTS:

As outlined below, all range activities are to be conducted with respect to the club calendar.  The club is not typically staffed outside of official events or meetings, so be sure to refer to the calendar prior to your planned visit: https://www.shadylanesportsmensclub.com/calendar

Use of the range carries with it the same rules as for members - https://www.shadylanesportsmensclub.com/membership-range-rules - and the following conditions apply:

- The only access included is to the outdoor shooting range, and is subject to the same restrictions as current access allows: no shooting on days when the club is reserved for rental, when the neighboring farmers have closed the range while in the field, or during club maintenance such as mowing.  If the range is not available when the purchaser arrives, this visit does not consume a pass.

- Range pass purchase does not provide club membership and does NOT allow the following: voting, access to private club functions, access to the clubhouse, discounted club rental, overnight camping or overnight parking.  Similarly, range pass purchase is NOT redeemable towards the cost of club rental or attending a paid event.  It is strictly limited to range access.

- A liability waiver must be submitted at the time of purchase.  No waiver = no shooting.
